The Red Canary platform is a multitenant web application that uses URL subdomains to distinguish links between customer environments.
During onboarding, you select a name that uniquely identifies your account in Red Canary. This becomes part of your Red Canary URLs, such as "https://yoursubdomain.my.redcanary.co". This URL subdomain tenancy allows you to share deep links to a specific Red Canary page, which is especially important for organizations with multiple Red Canary accounts.
What if I visit a Red Canary URL that doesn't specify a subdomain?
Certain Red Canary URLs in emails or Help Center articles may not include your subdomain, and instead may resemble "https://go.my.redcanary.co/account/license_usage".
When you visit this URL, Red Canary determines if you are logged in. If so, and you have access to a single Red Canary account, you will be automatically redirected to the appropriate account. If you have access to multiple Red Canary accounts, you will be prompted to select which account to use.
If you are not logged in, enter your account subdomain name and you will be redirected to the appropriate login page.
