Red Canary Endpoint Sync functionality has been updated to accommodate Microsoft's new Endpoint Discovery functionality. Customers may have seen the amount of "Uncommunicative" endpoints in their reports go up when Microsoft introduced Device Discovery. When a Microsoft Endpoint is in a "Can be onboarded", "Unsupported", or "Not enough info" onboarding state, it will now appear in the "Unenrolled" state in Red Canary rather than the "Uncommunicative" state. This change means Red Canary device counts in reports and in the UI should be back at a normal level.
