What browsers does Red Canary support?

In order to have the best user experience with your Red Canary, we recommend using Google Chrome. Chrome is the most widely-used browser with the best security and adherence to accepted internet standards.

Supported Browsers

Chrome — We officially support and test with Chrome and support the last two current versions.

Firefox, Edge, and Safari — The latest versions of Firefox, Edge, and Safari should work, but may yield unpredictable results.

Required Settings

Red Canary requires the use of two-factor authentication (2FA). Please note that issues with 2FA are commonly associated with ad-blocking extensions. Some combinations of browsers and ad-blocking extensions can cause certain HTTP POST requests to fail. If you experiences 2FA problems, disable ad-blocking extensions for your Red Canary subdomain(s).

Using an Unsupported Browser

If you use Red Canary on an older or unsupported browser, some features may not work. 

• Some sections may look different
• 2FA may not work properly
• Some functionality may be lost (Automate, authentication, etc.)
