If your environment is constricted by bandwidth limitations, you can set up "Site Throttling" on your Carbon Black Response server to prevent potential network bottlenecks.

  1. To configure a new site with the appropriate bandwidth settings by clicking your your username in the top right corner of your CB Response server and then select Settings.

2. Now, name the site and select which sensor groups you would like to throttle.

2. Next, configure the bandwidth usage using the Calendar to set the throttle limit. (Note: This limits the Site as a whole, not individual endpoints.)

3. Finally, assign the site to the sensor group by selecting the site in the Sensor Group General Options > Site Assignment.
